How to care for your slime

Your slime should last a long time if you take care of it - you dont have to do too much, just a few simple steps to keep it in the best condition.

1) Wash your hands, you don't want any dirt getting in your slime.

2) Clean or wipe the surface your using. Crumbs in slime are not good!

3) If your slime gets sticky, use the activator spray. Just be careful not to use too much.

Frequently asked questions

  • Use the Activator spray. Be careful not to add too much!

Also, running your hands under a cold tap helps too.

  • It sounds like you've added too much activator - leave it in it's tub in a warm place for a few days and it should be fine. If this doesn't work, add a small amount of glycerin.

  • This can sometimes happen to your slime.

You can add some lotion with glycerin in to soften your slime, but be aware that it will make clear slimes slightly cloudy.

  • We use first class post with Royal Mail and we try to ship all slimes the next day (depending on levels of homework!).

  • My slime has only safe and non toxic ingredients. The activator we use contains small amounts of borax (well under EU regulation levels) which is CE and EN71 Approved.

  • Because of the small sprinkles and charms in the slimes, we recommend that you're at least 3 years old.

Remember, if you look after your slime, it will last you a long time.
